All dentists say it, and we know it’s true: we need to brush our teeth. But do we really know what toothpaste is? Do we really know what we put in our mouths? Industrially-produced toothpaste contains potentially toxic ingredients like fluoride or triclosan and our mouth is actually one of the most absorbent places in our body.

Georganics was started in 2015 as a natural alternative to help keep a healthy daily oral care routine, but avoid the harmful ingredients found in most dental products.

Georganics natural toothpaste cleans and remineralizes teeth naturally thanks to being high in minerals like calcium, potassium, magnesium and natural organic silica. This is the safest and mildest toothpaste formulated only with the best quality ethically-sourced ingredients, all of which are organic and food grade certified.

Essential oils and minerals such as steam-distilled virgin coconut oil, charcoal, sodium bicarbonate and kaolin clay are blended in precise quantities to produce a paste that both cleans and whitens teeth, giving your mouth a cleaner, fresher feel. Each jar comes with a spatula for transferring the paste onto your brush. Brush as usual for 2-3 minutes, or leave longer for extra remineralization.

Naturally antibacterial Oil Pulling blends have been around for thousands of years as an Indian Ayurvedic remedy. At Georganics we have recreated the perfect blend, combining steam-distilled essential oils such as virgin coconut oil and capric / caprylic coconut oil, all of which have been selected from certified organic crops and farms. The result is that our oral care can benefit from their natural antimicrobial and soothing properties by reducing the amount of harmful bacteria in the mouth.

The way oil pulling works is simple. As the oil hits your teeth and gums, microbes are picked up as though they are being drawn to a powerful magnet. Bacteria hiding under crevices in the gums and in pores and tubules within the teeth are sucked out of their hiding places and held firmly in the solution. The longer you push and pull the oil through your mouth, the more microbes are pulled free. After 10-15 minutes drawing the oil through your teeth and gums (the longer the better!), it forms a milky white liquid which indicates that the bacteria has been “pulled” out.
